HASA at 10!

Challenge Details

This month, HASA is ten years old, and what better way to celebrate than a 10th Walker story...

The specifics:

Take a canonical character and add him/her to the Fellowship. You don't have to write the whole book, but maybe a key scene or two.

What if Glorfindel had been in Moria? What if Faramir had a premonition and had ridden north to meet the Fellowship or had defied Denethor and gone from the start with Boromir? What if Denethor had sent someone else with Boromir? What if Theodred had gone north to represent Rohan? Might Bilbo have insisted on going, drawn by the Ring? Which of the twins would go, or maybe both of them and not Legolas? What about Halbarad?

The only rule is at some point, there needs to be 10 Walkers in the Fellowship.

The challenge starts on July 2 and runs to the end of the month. A minimum of 500 words - story, drabble series, poem; whatever stirs your muse.
