Why Did Grima throw the Palantir?
I don't know what got me thinking about this, but why did Gríma throw the palantír at Gandalf? Was it really just a botched attempt to bean him, or is it possible there was something else going on in his brain? Maybe he knew what the palantír was, and did it with some purpose in mind.
Might work best with movie!Gríma in mind, since book!Gríma doesn't seem to have any redeeming characteristics that the reader doesn't supply him- or herself. At least not that I noticed.
Anyone? Why did Gríma throw the palantír?
